Pose of the Week: Tree Pose (Vrksasana)
Tree Pose is a beautiful reminder of this. It asks us to root down, steady ourselves, and grow upward with patience.
In some yoga traditions, Tree Pose is connected with devotion, focus, and disciplined practice. Like a tree, we become more stable little by little, not all at once.
This week, let your practice be simple and sustainable. A little bit, done consistently, goes a long way.
Try it:
- Stand tall and ground down through one foot.
- Lift the opposite foot to your inner ankle, calf, or inner thigh, avoiding the knee.
- Press foot and leg gently into one another for stability.
- Lengthen through your spine and soften your shoulders.
- Bring hands to heart or reach arms overhead like branches.
- Steady your gaze and breathe slowly.
- If you wobble, that is part of the practice.

Weβd love to support you in building a practice that feels grounded, helpful, and good in your body.
